I was born and raised in the City of Brockton. After graduating from Brockton High School in 2005, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a field radio operator with HQ Co. 25th Marine Regiment based in Devens, MA. This choice was influenced by a desire to serve my country in the wake of 9/11.
The role of Field Radio operator was crucial, as it involved maintaining communication between various units and ensuring that vital information was transmitted accurately and efficiently. The training I received was rigorous and demanding, pushing me to develop not only technical skills but also leadership qualities that would serve me well throughout my military career.
In 2008, I was deployed to the Al Anbar Province of Iraq as an attachment to the 1st Battalion, 25th Marines. I served for a total of 12 years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. My service in the Marine Corps not only shaped my character but also instilled in me a sense of duty and responsibility that I carry with me to this day.
Upon returning home, I settled in Lowell, Massachusetts, where I met my wife, a native of Chelmsford.
After marrying in 2015, and moving to Chelmsford, I joined the Chelmsford Fire Department. In 2018, my commitment to the fire service and the welfare of my fellow firefighters led me to run for a position on the Executive Board of our Local Union. This role allowed me to engage more actively in the decision-making processes that affect the health and safety of our fire fighters. Driven by an even greater desire to effect change and enhance the support systems within our Local Union, I sought to take on more responsibility. In 2021, I was elected President of the Chelmsford Firefighters, where I continue to serve my Local.
